MANILA, Philippines – Most fables only tell of the most pertinent details to get the point across. Our childhood version of “Little Red Riding Hood,” for instance, is remembered most from vividly colored cute drawings of a girl and a “big bad wolf” with big eyes, ears and teeth that talks to and eats people whole.  But despite the childish spin on an otherwise menacing cautionary tale, there is a lesson to be had. And in some instances, the story is much more complex than that.
